Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes.
– Matthew 24:44
Thoughts on Today’s Bible Verse:
Two thousand years ago, the Lord Jesus said, “And, behold, I come quickly” (Rev 3:11). All those who truly believe in the Lord obsessively hope that they can be raptured into the kingdom of heaven when He comes again. Everyone firmly believes that the Lord will come again in the last days, but how will He come and how will He appear to us?
Many people haven’t pondered the Lord’s will from His words “… for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes” (Mat 24:44). Since He said that we cannot imagine when He comes again, then how should we welcome His return? As a matter of fact, the Bible verses have shown us the path, such as, “Behold, I come as a thief” (Rev 16:15), “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Mat 25:6), “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Rev 3:20). All of these verses show us that the Lord will come as a thief in the last days and express His words to knock on the door of our heart in secret. Wise virgins who are watching and waiting have followed the footsteps of God and attended the wedding feast of the Lamb since they heard the voice of God and saw the appearance of Him and recognized the returned Lord Jesus.
Share a passage of God’s words, “Since we are searching for the footprints of God, we must search for God’s will, for the words of God, for the utterances of God—for where there are the new words of God, there is the voice of God, and where there are the footsteps of God, there are the deeds of God. Where there is the expression of God, there is the appearance of God, and where there is the appearance of God, there exists the truth, the way, and the life.”
