I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
– Philippians 4:13

Thoughts on Today’s Bible Verse:

This verse tells us that God is the strength that drives us forward. Relying on God, we can overcome any difficulty. A sister shared her experience: She said she was a person who tends to walk away from difficult situations. Once her company arranged for her to do a job she was not good at. This position required her to learn many things that she felt so hard. She had some basic training for this job before. At that time, she felt it was too hard to handle, and she was living in torment. With no courage to move forward, she only wanted to escape, feeling that she really couldn’t do it.

Later a passage gave her faith, and allowed her to know the reason for her pain: She didn’t truly rely on God. The passage says, “In any given minor matter, if God does not enlighten you, you will never have any inspiration, and without it, you will never be able to break through in this regard. If people simply rely on their human brains, intelligence, and calibers, there will be many things that humanity will be unable to break through in several hundred or even a thousand years. Why can’t they break through? It’s because until the time determined by God, and until God has commenced His work, it is useless, no matter how capable humans might be. You must see through this, right? You must have faith that everything is in God’s hands, and that humans are merely coordinating with Him. If you are sincere, God will see it and He will open up all paths for you, making difficulties no longer difficult. You must be confident in this.” When she entrusted the difficulty to God and tried hard to learn it, she gradually found a path. Through practice, she understood something she didn’t know before. She made progress. This experience made her faith in God greater. She knew that God was helping her at her side. There surely would be difficulties ahead, but she didn’t want to escape anymore, but face them by relying on God.

Just as the verse said, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” The above passage told us that only by experiencing everything practically can we gain more knowledge of God. Share one more passage, “If you don’t learn how to look to God and rely on God, you will never see the work God does on you, or the guidance and enlightenment He gives to you. If you can’t see these things, then the matter of whether or not God exists, whether or not He guides everything in the life of mankind will, in the depths of your heart, end with a question mark and not with a period or exclamation mark. ‘Does God guide everything in the life of mankind?’ ‘Does God observe the depths of man’s heart?’ This will be troublesome. For what reason do you make this a question and add a question mark? If you do not truly rely on God or look to Him, you will not be able to generate a true belief in God. If you can’t generate a true belief in God, then the question marks will forever be there with everything God does, and there will be no periods.
