Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

This verse tells us that we should care for others rather than care for ourselves only. But in real life, we cannot do this. A sister and I serve in coordination in the church. Every time in the assignment of various tasks, I knew that she had lots of difficulties at work, but I still adhered to dividing equally. After months, my leader came to inspect our work and she found much work was not finished yet because my partner had many other things to do besides the church work. At that time, I realized that I didn’t consider her difficulties but only my own interests. I was too selfish. Just as the revelation of God’s words, “For the effort of man is always for his own sake and not for others. Man is always selfish, while God is forever selfless.” After that, I make up my mind before God and want to truly repent.
