1. You shall not tempt the LORD your God, as you tempted him in Massah. – Deuteronomy 6:16

2. Jesus said to him, It is written again, You shall not tempt the Lord your God. – Matthew 4:7

3. There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it. – 1 Corinthians 10:13
