Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God.
– 1 John 4:7

Thoughts on Today’s Bible Verse:

God is love, so He asks us to live out love. I remember when I first believed in the Lord, brothers and sisters pursued to love one another according to the Lord’s teachings. When getting along with others, we were understanding and forgiving as a family. When unbelievers had problems and difficulties, we would help them out sincerely. Many people felt God’s love through our deeds and believed in the Lord. However, somewhere along the line, our love was gradually growing cold. Brothers and sisters do not love one another as before. Even pastors and elders quarrel with one another. This made me very sad. So I often pray to God: May He move every one of us so that we can live out the love of the Lord.

Then I heard a hymn online “Right Here, Right Now, We Get Together”: “Loving each other, we are family. Ah … ah … Right here, right now, we get together; a gathering of people loving God. Without bias, closely attached, happiness and sweetness filling our hearts. Yesterday we left regret and guilt; today we understand each other, live in God’s love. Together, so happy we are, free from flesh. Brothers, sisters, love each other; we are family. Without bias, closely attached. Ah … ah …” I listened repeatedly and was deeply moved. Those brothers and sisters love one another with happy. Their faces are beaming with happiness and sweetness. Such love only comes from God. I hope we can retrieve this love one day and be family with those who love God.
